It is called the Crafty Stitches Podcast as I want to include all the crafts that I do – sewing, crochet, Tunisian crochet , knitting and all other needlework crafts.

Welcome to the very first episode of the Crafty Stitches Podcast where I am sharing all my crafting projects with you! As well as all the things that I have learned from making these projects.

We have a brand new look!

It is January of 2022 and I can almost not believe it!

We have closed the website at the end of August to give it a new look and as it usually goes, we did it all on our own! It was an amazing learning experience but also very nerve wrecking…

So what has changed? For starters the site got a brand new fresh look and we translated the information so that everything is now available in English and Afrikaans.

All the products was updated – packaging got a new look and we added a few things like coffee, nuts, cookies, new rusks and most excitingly project kits!

This is still a slow process to review all the patterns that was used for our classes that we presented previously and putting the yarns together for it in project kit form. We are in the process of finishing up some sewing project kits which will feature these beautiful fabrics:

Coming to the shop in is also a lovely Tunisian Crochet project kit that will require two different tunisian crochet stitches and changing colours.

Our yarn cake cozy pattern will also be getting a bigger friend – the yarn cake cozy for 100g yarn cakes.

I think that is enough teasing – watch this space for news on the new project kits coming soon.

Suurstof ontnemers vir gedroogde groente

Dagsê Lesers,

Wanneer mens groente gedroog het – kom mens by die volgende stap – die berging daarvan.
Om jou groente te bewaar skep dit in glas bottels met staal skroef proppe.

Maak dit so vol as moontlik en plaas dan ’n suurstof ontnemer bo in die bottel en skroef die prop op. Mens kan maklik self so ’n suurstof ontnemer maak.

Heerlike Piesangbrood Resep
