New Knitting Patterns for 2025

Even though it is already the 22st of January of 2026, I still want to say Happy New Year and I hope that 2026 will treat you well!

I want to do a little Design Recap of 2025 and share the knitting and crochet patterns that I have designed and published in 2025, with you.

Now I also want to say that 2025 was a tough one for me, if I am honest even worse than 2020, so that brings things in perspective… anyway even with all that I still managed to design and publish 4 new knit and crochet patterns in my online shop and Ravelry Store! That is something to be celebrated right?

Lets chat about them for a minute.

The pattern designs

The first one is the Easy Crochet Heart pattern. This crochet pattern was so much fun to make, I actually made 5 of them and they live in a cute pottery bowl on my desk.

I made some in different yarn, 4ply fingering and double knit so they came out in different sizes and looks amazing! For this crochet pattern I used the magic ring to start the heart, there is also invisible decreases in the pattern and it is crocheted in the round with minimal sewing. It is really so much fun to make and they can be used for so many things, from cute decorations to key chains and even as needle minders in your project bag!

The second pattern was the Penny Socks Knitting  Pattern. This sock pattern was designed for the 4th annual Socktober Sock a Long #dbsocktober2025 that I host on Instagram every year.

Penny Socks Knitting Pattern

This years pattern was designed with Cuff down and Toe up instructions with a slipstitch heel flap and gusset construction. I personally love a toe up sock but I do realize that many knitters prefer the cuff down knitting experience and therefor I have written the pattern for both and when you purchase the pattern you get both pdf files so that you can knit your socks in which ever method you enjoy most.

The third knitting pattern for 2025 was the Fairy Lily Cowl.

This is the second pattern in the Fairy Lily Design Series (there is another one in the works!) and I absolutely adore this pattern.

Fairy Lily Cowl in Size 1 of the pattern

The fun direction of the stripes is just lovely, the way you get to play with colour and lace knitting makes for a very enjoyable knit. It has 2 sizes in the pattern and have some exclusive video tutorials included in the pattern.

Made with Sock Yarns 75% Superwash Merino and 25% Nylon you can easily make this with some bigger left over yarns.

Then the fourth and last knitting pattern that I designed was the Serenity Scarf.

The Serenity Scarf Knitting pattern in size 1

Well this one sort of just happened. It was one of those designs where I just cast on and start knitting and suddenly I had a stitch pattern that I loved and I just knew this needs to be a scarf. So I started to work out the details that I wanted to be part of the scarf and started to knit the first sample. I was truly sad when the first sample was finished and I immediately cast on the second sample. I was so happy that I could just keep knitting on this adorable stitch pattern.

The 2 sizes in this pattern is the same length which is 140cm.  Size 1 is 10 cm wide and size 2 is 13,5cm wide. They are made from 75% Superwash Merino and 25% Nylon fingering weight sock yarn with 366m on 100g but it is a scarf so you can play a little bit with yarn choices for this one! The scarf is knitted tip to tip so you can lengthen or shorten the scarf too.

I am so very proud of these beautiful designs that came to life in 2025 and I am so grateful that I get to share these with you.

I love seeing and hearing about your journey creating your very own items from my designs. It makes my heart sing and bring me so much JOY.

My biggest wish is to inspire you with these knitting and crochet patterns, to teach you how easy it can be to create your own decor, garments, socks or accessories using simple stitches in crochet and knitting. Most projects look so very complicated and in reality once you understand a few stitches, it becomes much simpler and easier than you could have ever dreamed of! A few simple stitches put together in a specific order can create magic on your knitting needles or crochet hook.

Check out these patterns in my online shop or Ravelry Store and lets create some magic on our knitting needles and Crochet hooks this year!

Keep an eye out for more in depth posts on these designs where I will share even more details about how they came to life on my hooks and needles and what you will need to create your own Easy Crochet Hearts, Penny Socks, Fairy Lily Cowl or Serenity Scarf.

That is it from me for this post!

Always remember to make time for the real treasures in life and I will talk to you again soon!
