In the latest episode of the Crafty Stitches Podcast I share four finished projects of which one is my fourth Ranunculus sweater. This pattern by Midori Hirose is just such a stunning pattern to knit – I am already dreaming about a fifth version…
So what else did I finish these past two weeks?
Well as I mentioned I finished the Ranunculus that I knit it Yama Fiber Arts, Craft and Design Yarn – it is the Merino Linen singles which is a 90%Superwash Merino and 10% Linen blend in the colourway Masala.
I used 268g for this sweater so just under 1000 meters. I made lots of notes on my Ravelry Project page for this sweater and you can look at that here if you like.
Then my second finished project was another one of my Simple Shaped Cowl – DK version, also in Elle Fifty 50 Double Knit Yarn. This one was knit as a gift for a friend and I enjoyed it so much – I am also planning another one or two or three for myself… You can find that here if you want to see the project details on Ravelry.
I also finished the hat that I was making for my husband. Yes the same one that I was working on since last winter. It is at last finished – you can check it out on the podcast.
The last finished project is my pair of Felicity socks that I knit for Summer Sock Camp 2023 hosted by Kay from the Crazy Sock Lady Podcast. I knit the second sock of the pair for Sockweek2023 hosted by Knitty Natty of the Love in Stitches Podcast and I am so happy with how they came out. I absolutely love this pattern and this gorgeous yarn from EsTeresa Yarn Creations worked up so well in this pattern.

What else am I working on?

- Knitted mittens that will become part of a pattern in the future
- The kindness shawl which is part of the Four of a Kind pattern by Brenda Brayfield
- The crochet version of the Simple Shaped Cowl
- A Jacket for my husband that I am sewing
- A shirt that I am also sewing
