I specifically designed this pattern for the first Socktober Sock-a-Long that I hosted in October 2022.
This sock design was inspired by the texture of seashells, the ocean and memories of my own romantic seaside holidays. Please have a look at my inspiration video for this pattern on my YouTube Channel.
The pattern includes exclusive video tutorial to assist you in knitting this sock and includes a technique on aligning your garter stripes.
This pattern is knitted from the toe up with a gusset, heel turn and heelflap.
Written in 5 different sizes to fit a foot circumference of 23 ( 24 ; 25 ; 26 ; 27 ) cm
Materials Needed: (Yarn is all Fingering Weight Sock Yarn – 366m / 100g)
- 147 meters (40g) Speckled Colour Sock Yarn (Sample used Knotty Habit 75% SW Merino 25% Nylon 366m/100g)
- 183 meters (50g) Solid Colour Sock Yarn (Sample used Knotty Habit 75% SW Merino 25% Nylon 366m/100g)
- 37 meters (10g) Speckled Colour Sock Yarn (Sample used Knotty Habit 75% SW Merino 25% Nylon 366m/100g)

Needles : US 1/ 2.25mm & US3/ 3.25mm (to bind off loosely) – Your choice: DPN’S, Magic Loop using a 32” cable, 9” circulars. Pattern is not written for a specific way of working in the round.
Notions : 4 x Stitch Markers, Lightbulb markers, Tapestry needle for weaving in ends.
Gauge : 34 stitches x 48 rounds = 10 x 10cm in Stocking Stitch
