Description
The Dazzling Socks Knitting Pattern is a fun stranded colourwork sock pattern. It is easy and perfect for beginner too.
The stranded colourwork is knitted in only 2 rounds at a time with a little break in between so that you can practice your skills without getting overwhelmed.
For this sock I chose the colours based on a bearded iris blooming in my garden and added the pink for a pop of colour!
To knit your own dazzling socks you will need:
21 – 29 g of Colour A for heels toe’s and cuffs
20 – 26 g of Colour B for the texture stripe sections
29 – 38 g of Colour C as the main colour for the colour work sections
5 – 7 g of Colour D for the contrast colour stripe in the colour work sections
5 – 7 g of Colour E for the other contrast colour stripe in the colour work sections.
The pattern comes in Cuff Down or Toe Up instructions that is made in 2 different pdf files – you can print only the one you need. Lots of sock knitting tips and tricks are included in the pattern.
Video tutorials are also available inside the pattern file if you are more of a visual learner, the video’s have really helpful information in them and I would highly recommend watching them.
The pattern is written in 5 sizes to fit a foot circumference of: 19 – 21 ( 21 – 23 ; 23 – 25 ; 25 -27 ; 27 – 29 ) cm
Gauge for Pattern is 32 sts x 46 rounds for 10 x 10 cm after blocking.
