Description
This beautiful sock has a four round pattern repeat with gorgeous faux cables that runs on the front of the sock and around the leg – pattern also includes an option to knit the faux cables as a panel running on the front of the sock only – if you are not interested in the patterning around the leg.
It is my usual toe up construction with a heelturn, heelflap and gusset and comes in 5 different sizes.
This pattern includes exclusive video tutorials on how to do all the techniques used in this pattern.
It also includes the instructions for doing a sock in one colour AND to do a contrasting heel.
5 Sizes in the pattern: To fit a 23, 24, 25, 26 & 27 cm foot circumference
Materials Needed:
Yarn: 400 – 440 meters of Fingering Weight Sock Yarn. Sample was knit with EsTeresa Yarn Creations on their Donna base which is a 4 ply 20% Kid Mohair, 25% Nylon and 55% Superwash Wool blend and has 440 meters per 110g of yarn.
Needles : US 1/ 2.25mm & US3/ 3.25mm (to bind off loosely) – Your choice: DPN’S, Magic Loop using a 32” cable, 9” circulars. Pattern is not written for a specific way of working in the round.
Notions : 4 x Stitch Markers, Lightbulb markers, Tapestry needle for weaving in ends.
Gauge : 34 stitches x 48 rounds = 10 x 10cm in Stocking Stitch
